PAD PAC uses a collaborative, disciplined, research-driven endorsement process. We build our candidate list early, drawing on trusted data and on-the-ground insight to identify races where progressive support can make the greatest impact. We take a focused, hands-on approach — prioritizing quality over quantity and evaluating each race individually.
Our review process includes:
- National race assessments such as DCCC Frontline and Red to Blue
- Independent analysis from Cook Political Report, Inside Elections, and other respected race ratings
- Input from progressive organizations and allied caucuses
- Direct conversations with candidates and current elected leaders
- Ongoing evaluation of district dynamics, including redistricting and primary fields
Because districts, primaries, and political conditions are still evolving early in the cycle, each potential endorsement is researched individually. We do not rely on lists alone — every candidate is evaluated based on competitiveness, values, and readiness to lead in Congress.
